This yarn is hand dyed with indigo on supersoft baby alpaca yarn in small batches. Alpaca is warmer and softer than wool. It contains no lanolin which make it hypoallergenic. Colors will vary slightly skein to skein.
All yarns are rinsed until the water runs clear however, it is normal for some more saturated colors to bleed slightly after the first couple washes.
To keep your yarn looking it's best, it is recommended to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
